About Cloverlanes Bowl
Cloverlanes opened for business in 1964.
Cloverlanes won an architectural building design award. The first award was for the 31 foot high double winged roof and truss system and the second award for the bright open airy fell of the bowling center. In 1964 Cloverlanes was state of the art.
In the 1980's Cloverlanes was the first large bowling center in Metro Detroit to bring automatic scoring to its customers. Because of that, the other area centers had to make the move to automatic scoring to keep up with the times.
Cloverlanes continues to support local and national organizations through donations and fund raisers. We work on being a positive, active part of our community.
